Mariology

From: Frank

Why do you "Christians" hate Mary the mother of Our Lord Jesus Christ so much? Have you at any time considered the fact that God could not have been born (the Second Person of the Holy and Blessed Trinity) from a human being stained with sin since He is NOT the author of sin, uh? So with all the pomposity and pride (a grave sin) of mind and with Bible on hand wind up acting in the very same way you accuse Catholics of doing: like a PHARISEE, and the last thing I would believe you are in spite of your writings is being a CHRISTIAN for in them you seem to lack charity and love of your fellowmen, exactly opposite of what Our Lord commanded us to do!

First off, Mary was not the mother of God, she was the mother of Jesus. Second, if Mary was sinless, then Jesus' mission of living a sinless life was somewhat meaningless. If you're presumption about Jesus not being able to be born of a sinful person, then the same thing would have to apply to Mary, and to her parents, all the way back to Adam. Jesus was the one that made it possible for us to overcome sin. If he could not have been born of a person with sin, then how could he touch (and heal) sinners.

Mariology is a fabrication of Roman Catholicism with no evidence in scripture. Mary was blessed (happy, the recipient of a blessing) but she was not sinless. God took on the form of sinful flesh in the person of Jesus. He was sinless because he did no sin, not because he inherited that nature from Mary.

You can make that accusation if you like. I try to be as proud about telling the truth as Jesus was. But then, it doesn't make me any difference. I'm simply telling you the truth from scripture. Do you care about truth? Or is the Roman Catholic Church more important?

Donna,

Well, is it not magnificent to learn that a woman like you, so erudite and full of intellectual pride, can so handily "beat" those ignorant catholics who don't know that Our Lord jesus Christ is GOD (second person of The Blessed and Holy Trinity) by such brave acts of "christian witnessing"? Why, by mocking them of being pharisees you really showed them TRUE christian love and charity, which is exafctly what Jesus commanded us to do with our fellowmen. Congratulations! Feel proud about your "christian" accomplishments because after all, those catholics are no good...pagans...idolaters...ignorant nincophoos...brought to their knees (and a priest too!) by your incredible giant intellect...

But wait a minute here...why do you so-called "christians" seem to hate so much the Mother of Jesus Christ (is it envy of femenine sort?) which whether you like it or not, was chosen even before time began, to be the human vessel from which Our Precious Lord would eventually--and in fullfilment of the Holy Scriptures--take a human form. That vessel, Donna, had to be PURE and FREE of Sin...for God, not being the author of sin, could not have born and thus REEDEM the human race (which include you and me). She had to be not only a VIRGIN but free from SIN, do you realize this? And do you think that God was going to discard Her like a pariah after using Her? Do you realize that Jesus lived with Her for 30 years in absolute sainthood, wisdom and true love of Her before He began His ministry? And to confound the proud and hateful God crowned Queen of Heaven after She "fell asleep" (Mary was spared death) and was lifted--"raptured," if you will--both in soul and body (refer to the writings of the Early Fathers of the Church, if you deign to give them some creedance) straight to Haven, just like Moses and Issiah (the only two other mortals that were spared death and putrefaction--they even appeared besides Our Lord during the Configuration--see your Bible, Donna)...

Well, some people "fell asleep" in I Corinthians. Were they raptured too? And Moses... He must have died, since God buried him. Check your Bible. Anyway...

You've proven my point. With your dedication to the Roman Catholic church and it's oral tradition, you've demonstrated your ignorance of scripture. Your insistence upon defending Mary and a host of heresies about her and neglect of any of the truth of the gospel demonstrates that you don't care about truth.

Some Afterthoughts

They say Mary had to be sinless for Jesus to be sinless. But, then, how could Mary be sinless, unless her parents were also sinless.

Secondly, if people could live sinless lives, why did Jesus come? Scripture clearly states that all have sinned (Romans).

This is one example of how the Catholic church has twisted scripture and logic in order to justify their paganized version of Christianity, combining pagan philosophy with Christianity.

And when they point to oral tradition, they are essentially saying, "that's how we've always believed..."; and "because we believe it, it's true."
